Dr. Erin Holder is a distinguished integrative veterinarian with over two decades of experience blending conventional and holistic medicine. A 2002 honors graduate of the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine, she was awarded the Lerner Family Wildlife Conservation Award, the Bird Fanciers Scholarship and was inducted into Phi Zeta. Her award-winning research on early renal disease detection in captive cheetahs was published in the Journal of Zoo and Wildlife Medicine.

In 2004, Dr. Holder founded FloridaWild Veterinary Hospital, a pioneering integrative practice for small animals, exotics, and wildlife. Certified in Veterinary Acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Herbal Medicine, Tui-Na, Food Therapy and Reiki, she built a nationally recognized healing space that was featured on National Geographic Wild: Unlikely Animal Friends. For two decades, she treated thousands of patients, focusing on immune system balance and natural healing modalities to address chronic illness, allergies and cancer.

In 2022, she sold FloridaWild and relocated to Hawaii, where she began a personal journey of healing from compassion fatigue. This experience led to an in depth study of energetic medicine and the founding of the Veterinary Compassion Project (VCP), an online platform dedicated to supporting veterinary professionals through burnout prevention and emotional wellbeing.

Now based at River’s Ranch in Northern California, Dr. Holder continues advanced studies in veterinary homeopathy and quantum healing. She remains passionate about reducing unnecessary medications, nurturing pets with whole food diets and reestablishing their balance.

Her latest venture, Indigo, is a veterinary consulting service designed to empower pet guardians to support their animals’ health through integrative approaches, including herbal therapies, nutrition and homeopathy.
